Projects in this program of Scientific Research on Innovative Areas aim, in cooperation with talented young scientists, to establish new scientific approaches by integrating research on transcription and metabolism, initially studied as discrete and independent academic fields. Our achievements will help to elucidate the development and differentiation processes of a variety of species, and reveal the molecular mechanisms that underlie homeostasis, stress responses, and signal transduction. Thus, these projects will contribute to our understanding of the factors involved in the development of metabolic diseases and cancer, as well as to the identification of therapeutic targets.
